Turlock, CA (July 26, 2016) – From high diving pirates; pig races; and smiling faces, the 105th Stanislaus County Fair brought in crowds from various places.
Residents picked the Stanislaus County Fair as their destination for the summer and drew in over 220,000 guests during its 10-day run, an 8 percent decrease from 2015. The Fair opened on Friday, July 8h and concluded its annual run on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Fair concessions were up 7 percent and Butler Amusement, the fair ride operator, was at a flat number compared to 2015.
“We had an extremely successful year with many in attendance and exhibitors present,” said Matt Cranford, chief executive officer of the Stanislaus County Fair. “Many larger fairs were impacted this year with low attendance numbers. Our fair is filled with community support who have always stood behind us and supported us when needed.”

In Nashville, before anyone ever referred to the southern end of Broadway as SoBro, the Hillsboro Village neighborhood boasted Sunset Grill, a restaurant that during the 1990s proved as integral to Nashville recorded music as other metropolitan eateries that over the years became legendary hubs for creative businesses in New York and Los Angeles. In 1991 a group of 4 young street hardened boys by the name of B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e used their musical talents to obtain one way bus tickets to make their way out from the rough city of Cleveland, Ohio.
