It begins with a 1936 Ford pickup with an old fashioned Farmer’s Market. You will get to see changes from the 1930′s to now! All of the products at the Farmer’s Market can be found in Stanislaus County. Another Farmyard experience will highlight where Stanislaus top 10 commodities are exported worldwide. Don’t forget to check out the Tot Zone (new this year) with the Potato Dig. Little ones can dig for potatoes and grind wheat into flour. There will be a hamburger stand to earn how much water it takes to produce a hamburger! Continue on your Farmyard journey, the exhibit will show how wool is spun and also pet the Alpacas and Llamas. Stop by the petting zoo on the way out to see the chickens, rabbits, pigs, piglets, baby goats, baby cows and mothers, and many more! Don’t forget to tour the new display of how ice cream is produced starting with the cow!
