The 2008 Stanislaus County Fair dates are
Friday, July 25th thru Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 |
About Our Carnival
Butler Amusements, the Stanislaus County Fair’s
carnival operator, brings more than 35 exciting
attractions to this year’s fair.
The
14 spectacular rides* include the Flying
Swinger, Backdraft Rollercoaster, Fireball and the
Giant Wheel. The nine major rides* include
the classic Kite Flyer, Scrambler and the Eagle 16!
The 14 kiddie attractions* include the Chopper
Hopper, a Wacky Worm and of course, the Grand
Carousel.
The midway features a variety of food including
pizza, corn dogs and the staples of the midway –
caramel corn, caramel apples and cotton candy. Sound
the buzzer! Toss dimes! Shoot a hoop! It’s fun and
more fun with nearly 30 games of chance at a variety
of skill levels. The midway’s fun games include the
water gun race, dime toss, long-range basketball,
pool tables and even a floating-mermaids game for
the kiddies.
Butler Amusements
is proud to be recognized with the Circle of
Excellence Designation by the Outdoor Amusement
Business Association. Butler Amusements is one of
only two carnivals operating in California who have
achieved this distinction.
Butler Amusements was started nearly 40 years ago.
It is the largest carnival company in the Western
United States providing carnivals for over 110
different events each year.
Safety
is critically important to Butler Amusements and the
Stanislaus County Fair.
