Mark
Chesnutt
Listen
Trailer Choir (opening act)
Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, 8:30 p.m.
Budweiser Variety Free Stage
Hosted by KAT Country 103

Mark
Chesnutt has a classic country singer’s story,
starting in the honky-tonks of Texas singing covers
of classic country singers to develop his authentic
country style. It was this style that made him one
of Billboard’s Ten Most Played Radio Artists of the
‘90s, as well as garnering him four platinum albums,
five gold albums, CMA Horizon Award Winner with 14
number one singles and 23 Top 10 Singles. Chesnutt
still maintains a hefty tour schedule because
performing on stage is what he loves to do most.
Mark’s memorable hits include “Bubba Shot The
Jukebox,” “Going Through The Big D,” “Old Flames
Have New Names” and “It Sure Is Monday.”
Opening for Mark Chesnutt is Trailer Choir, a group
of fun loving entertainers who have toured with Toby
Keith, performed at the CMA Music Festival and
National Finals Rodeo. Their song “Off The Hillbilly
Hook” has been featured in the movie Beer For My
Horses, and song “Last Man Standing” has been
used in a national NASCAR promotion by ESPN and ABC.

The
Four Tops
Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009,

After
five decades of chart-topping hits, The Four Tops’
timeless charm still enchants fans. The Four Tops
originated in 1954 with four high school friends

the group released hit after hit like “Baby I Need
Your Loving” and “Reach Out, I’ll Be There.” In
1990, The Four Tops were inducted into the Rock n’
Roll Hall of Fame, which is no wonder considering
hits like “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey
Bunch),” “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I Got)” and
“When She Was My Girl.”. The group continued for 43
years without a single change in members, something
that is unmatched by any other group ever. The group
has experienced the loss of several original
members, but has continued strong with the addition
of several talented new members.

Gretchen
Wilson
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 8:30 p.m.
Budweiser Variety Free Stage
Hosted by KAT Country 103.3

Before
becoming a superstar, ‘Redneck Woman,’ Gretchen
Wilson, lived the simpler life. She was born in
Pocahontas, Illinois and was raised on the classic
country of Patsy Cline. Gretchen began bartending
from the age of 14 alongside her mother, and singing
for the rough-and-tumble patrons for tips. After
landing a bartending job in Nashville where she sat
in with the band now and then, Wilson was plucked
from obscurity by duet singers Big and Rich.
Her subsequent first single, “Redneck
Woman,” spent six weeks at number one and debut
album “Here for the Party” reached quadruple
platinum status. Since that phenomenal start to her
professional career, Gretchen has since had her
second CD, All Jacked Up, reach platinum
status and has been honored with a number of awards
including a Grammy, an ACM award and a CMA award for
best female vocalist.

Nat
and Alex Wolff
Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009,
8:30 p.m.
Budweiser Variety Free Stage
Hosted by KHOP 95-1

Television’s favorite brothers, fully clothed, will
perform music they have written for their hit TV
show The Naked Brothers Band at the
Stanislaus County Fair.
Singer, composer and keyboardist Nat
Wolff, 14, who is the lead singer/songwriter of
The Naked Brothers Band, first rocked in
preschool when his band was born. Nat wrote 13 of
the 15 original songs from the television series
that are featured on the debut Nickelodeon and
Columbia Records album, The Naked Brothers Band.
On The Naked Brothers Band’s second album,
I Don’t Want To Go To School, Nat wrote 11
of the 14 songs.
Alex Wolff, 11 years old, marks his
first acting gig as the irresistibly charming and
witty “bad boy” drummer in The Naked Brothers
Band. Decked out in doo-rags and fake tattoos
culled from his real-life collection, he’s
expressive and a bit of a loose cannon on-screen.
Yet the young drummer, singer and songwriter’s
musicianship and big heart earn him respect as a
band member.

his self-penned and future first hit song, “Long
Black Train.” Since that fateful day, the talented
baritone has become one of the youngest members
inducted into the famed Grand Ole Opry, had his
album Your Man reach double-platinum status
and has since been likened to the legendary Johnny
Cash. Turner’s songs include number one hits “Your
Man” and “Would You Go With Me.” His fun and
positive country music also includes “Firecracker”
and “Everything is Fine.”
