Just
days remain to save money on admission tickets to the
Stanislaus County Fair!
It’s
long been said, “The early bird gets the worm.”
The same is true for people who buy Stanislaus
County Fair admission tickets early—they will save
money!
“We
encourage families to plan early and take advantage of
the savings of pre-sale fair admission discounts,”
shared Pennie Rorex, fair spokesperson.
“But, act now because the sale price ends
July 13.”

Pre-sale
adult fair admission (age 13 and older) is
available for $5 through July 13.
After that date, tickets will be $7 each

Child
fair admission (age 6 to 12) is available for $2
per child

Children
age 5 and under are free
Discounts
are also available for midway rides, but only until
the fair opens:

Carnival
pre-sale ride coupons are available for $15 (until
5 p.m. on July 26)

Carnival
pre-sale ride coupons can be used for either one
unlimited ride wristband on one weeknight only
(Monday through Friday). Or, the pre-sale ride coupon can be used for 30 ride
tickets (rides take two to five tickets each).
Discount
fair admission tickets and carnival ride coupons are only
for sale at the fair office, located at 900 N.
Broadway, Turlock.
The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m.
“Pre-sale
tickets are still on sale for the always-popular arena
events too,” said Rorex.
This year’s arena line up includes Martina
McBride, the 2002 Academy of Country Music Female
Vocalist; the CCPRA rodeo; truck and tractor pulls;
motocross competition, the TuffTruks and more!
“And,
for those Lynyrd Skynyrd fans, who were unable to
secure tickets before the reserved seating sold out,
don’t fret! There
will be hundreds of general admission tickets on sale
the day of the show (July 29) at the fair,”
explained Rorex.
Arena
tickets can be purchased in person at the Stanislaus
County Fair office.
Tickets can be purchased with cash, VISA or
MasterCard (checks are not accepted).
In addition, arena tickets are for sale by:

Mail order: To request an order-by-mail form
please e-mail or call the Fair
office at 668-1333 or 524-2660.

Telephone: Arena event tickets can be ordered by
telephone by calling 1-800-225-BASS. A customer convenience fee will be added to the price of the
event ticket by tickets.com.

Online: Arena event tickets can be ordered
online at www.tickets.com.

Tickets.com Outlets: Arena event tickets can be
purchased through ticket outlets which are located in
Raley’s Supermarkets in Manteca; Merced; Modesto;

The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 91st
year. The 2002 Fair opens
Friday, July 26 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s Fair is “Through
the Eyes of a Child.”
Last year, a record-number of family members
enjoyed the Fair as attendance topped 215,000
visitors.
The
mission of the Stanislaus County Fair is to provide a
family and community oriented experience promoting
agriculture, education, entertainment and technology.
