Grammy award winning Ronnie Milsap
returns to
Stanislaus County Fair!
Turlock—Country
music fans you have “Never Had It So Good,” as
another Grammy award winner has been confirmed to
perform at the Stanislaus
County Fair.
Ronnie
Milsap, whose 40 number one hits are second only
to Conway Twitty, will take center stage on Saturday,
August 3 on the Budweiser
Variety Free Stage.
All
concerts on this stage are included with the price of
fair admission.
Ronnie
Milsap has received six Grammy awards and eight
Country Music Association awards in his career since
releasing his first single, “Total Disaster, ” at
the young age of 20 years old.
Milsap has been a large presence in country
music since the 1970s and is now ready to leave his
mark on the 21st Century.
“Ronnie
Milsap is loved by millions of fans, especially those
in the Central Valley.
He packed the house when he performed at our
fair in 1994,” commented Fair Spokeswoman Pennie
Rorex. “Milsap’s
large following can be
attributed to his blend of country, rhythm and blues,
and rock. The other being that he is a down-to-earth, friendly
person,” added Rorex.
Milsap’s
two new hits, “Livin’ On Love” and “Time, Love
and Money,” exemplify that the Milsap blend is sure
to keep concert-goers at this years fair on their
feet.

The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 91st
year. The 2002 fair opens
Friday, July 26 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Through
the Eyes of a Child.”
Last year, more than 215,000 family members
enjoyed the Stanislaus County Fair.
The mission of the Stanislaus County Fair is to
provide a family and community oriented experience
promoting agriculture, education, entertainment and
technology.
