The
Stanislaus County Fair walked away with eight blue
ribbons Thursday night at an awards banquet of fair
executives from throughout the United States and
Canada.
At
the annual conference of the Western Fairs Association
(WFA), the Stanislaus
County Fair was the recipient 14 awards--eight
first place awards, four second place awards and two
honorable mention awards.
Tom Hallinan, president
of the Stanislaus County Fair Board, was at the
San Diego-based conference to accept the awards.
“I’m extremely proud of our fair,” shared
Hallinan. “Our

experience. These awards are affirmation that we are
on the right track!”
