ribbon opportunity: Exhibit your hobby or craft at the
Stanislaus County Fair!
Turlock—There are just six days left to enter your hobby or craft
into the Stanislaus County Fair—the deadline is
Thursday, June 19, at 5 p.m.
Whether
you are youngster, or young at heart, there’s a
place for your talents at the Stanislaus County Fair.
If you bake, decorate, can, preserve, or make
homemade brew, sew, crochet, spin, weave, knit, quilt,
needlework, garden or arrange, they show off your
talents at the Stanislaus County Fair.
Do you
raise rabbits, poultry, livestock, horses, mules,
goats, cattle, swine, or sheep?
Or do you grow fruits or nuts? Or how about
bake a great apple pie, whip up a fantastic salsa, or
have a secret recipe for BBQ ribs?
Exhibitor
entry forms must be received at the Fair office by 5
p.m. on June 19, 2003 or be postmarked by June 19,
2003. Handbooks
with entry forms are available at the following
locations Turlock locations: Turlock Library, Valley
Distributors, Cloth & Quilts and in Hilmar at
Hilmar Cheese.

Be

The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 92nd year.
The 2003
fair opens Friday, July 25 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “The Place
to be in 2003: Saluting the 30th
Anniversary of American Graffiti.”
The
mission of the Stanislaus County Fair is to provide a
family and community oriented experience promoting
agriculture, education, entertainment and technology.
