Kevin
Bacon and brother Michael get footloose at the
Stanislaus County Fair-
Turlock—The
Stanislaus County Fair will get a dose of Hollywood as
famed actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael take
the stage with their instruments and microphones.
The
Bacon Brothers, a hot rock and roll band, will perform
on Thursday,
July 31, at 8:30 p.m. on the Budweiser Variety
Free Stage on Thursday July 31 at 8:30 p.m. All
concerts on this stage are included with the price of
admission.
“Kevin
Bacon’s acting has made moviegoers smile for years
in his appearances in movies like ‘Footloose,’
‘Apollo 13’ and ‘A Few Good Men,” said Pennie
Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
“Kevin and Michael have been making crowds
smile with their musical talent for years.”
The
Bacon Brothers, who have been making music for over
seven years, are best recognized for their songs
“Paris” and “Summer of Love.” “Can’t
Complain,” the third release from the charismatic
new band, features songs written by the two brothers.
The twosome succeeds is amazing in their ability to
make audiences forget the reputation of its most
celebrated member and sink into the depths of songs
that are saturated with refreshing truth and
inspirational perspective.
