Christian music icon Rebecca St. James
to dazzle Stanislaus County Fair audiences!

Turlock—Rebecca St. James, the 25-year old Australian singing sensation, is ready to lift her voice to God and all her enthusiastic fans at the Stanislaus County Fair!

St James, a Grammy award winner and best-selling author, will perform on the Budweiser Variety Free Stage on Monday, July 28 at 8:30 p.m. All concerts on this stage are included with the price of fair admission.

“We are so excited to add Christian music to our impressive line up,” said Pennie Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Rebecca’s music is in such demand.”

Rebecca is best known for hits “Song of Love,” “Don’t Worry,” and “Wait for Me.” The oldest of seven kids, St. James is passionate about her message to encourage people to see the beauty of worshipping God. Her large family accompanies her on all 200 concerts each year, each doing their part to sing, sell merchandise or help with the lighting.

Rebecca uses her name to help make a difference in causes she believes in—the adoption of needy children and ending hunger. St James has visited Romania where she distributed food to the hungry and performed for free.

St. James’ new album, “worshipGOD” was just released and features the new hits “Breathe,” and “Let My Words be Few.”

St. James’ impressive list of music awards includes: Grammy – “Pray” (1999 Best Rock Gospel Album); Dove Award – “The Prayer of Jabez” (2002 Special Event Album); Dove Award Nomination – 2002 Female Vocalist of the Year; Amazon Award: 2000 Christian & Gospel Artist of the Year; and Campus Life: 1998 Favorite Female Artist.
