Trick
Pony to play the Stanislaus County Fair!
Turlock—Trick
Pony, the best selling new country act in 2001, is
ready to ‘do just what they do’ at the Stanislaus
County Fair!
Trick
Pony, whose first, self-titled album earned them an
American Music Award for Favorite New Country Artist,
will perform on the Budweiser Variety Free Stage on Sunday, July 27 at
8:30 p.m. All concerts on this stage are
included with the price of fair admission.
“Trick
Pony is a fantastic country act,” said Pennie Rorex,
spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
“We are thrilled to add the sounds of
award-winning country music to the free stage.”
Trick Pony
is well known for such hits as “Pour Me,” “On a
Night Like This” and “Just What I Do.” Their
first album sold more copies than any new country
group in Soundscan history.
Trick Pony shows no signs of slowing down. In
fact, the group has just released a new album, “On a
Mission” which features the classic country vocal
styling of both Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings.
“Trick
Pony is developing a reputation as the real deal in
country music,” said Rorex.
“This country group is visually compelling
and musically talented.”
