Deadline
approaches to buy Stanislaus County Fair discount
tickets on-line
Turlock--Less
than one week remains to buy Stanislaus County Fair
discount tickets on-line.
July 17 is
the deadline to use the convenience of on-line
technology to take advantage of pre-fair discounts.
Presale adult fair admission is just $6 ($8 at the
gate). Child
admission is also available on-line for $2.
Advance sale carnival wristbands (good for
unlimited rides one weeknight [Monday-Friday] are just
$17. Carnival
wristband prices during the fair will be $20/weeknight
or $23 on Saturdays and Sundays).
In early May, fair officials announced that
Stanislaus County Fair guests can buy discounted fair
admission tickets and discounted carnival
pay-one-price unlimited ride wristbands through the
Fair’s web site—www.stancofair.com.
However, the on-line service is only available
through July 17,
On-line sales can be made with Visa or Master
Card. A $2 on-line processing fee, per complete order,
will be added at checkout.
Purchases made through the Fair’s web site
are made using a secure connection (SSL) and all
information is transmitted in an encrypted form.
“Our mission is to promote agriculture,
entertainment, education and technology,” said
Pennie Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County
Fair. “Making
our Fair’s discounts easily accessible through the
technology and the convenience of the internet is yet
another way we are working to accomplish our
mission.”
“The on-line, pre-fair purchase makes the
discounts accessible to everybody—24 hours a
day—no matter their work schedule. However, with the
fair opening on July 30, we need a cut-off date for
on-line sales to allow us time to process and get the
orders out in the U.S. mail.”
Discounted
tickets ordered online are sent U.S. mail directly to
the buyer’s home or business address.
