– Country music fans, mark your calendars now for
Pat Green, opening for headliner Brad Paisley at the

things the hard way, but still getting them done, Pat
Green has sold nearly 200,000 independently-released

is a legitimate star in Texas, who sells out every
venue in his home state. Green, known for songs like,
“Carry On,” “Three Days” and “Who’s To
Say,” will perform on Tuesday,
Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. opening for Brad Paisley in the FoodMaxx Arena at the Stanislaus

“Brad
Paisley and Pat Green – what a show!” said Pennie
Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
“This show is going to be fantastic!
Pat Green has a sound all his own and is sure
to wow over some new fans.”
Green
began his musical career at age 18 while he was
attending school at Texas Tech in Lubbock.
“I started playing the guitar to pick up the
chicks,” Green said.
“Before that I only sang in the shower.” Well, playing for the girls led Green to an incredible career
of singing happy songs where the guy gets the girl in
the end and all the bad guys are dead.
Green says that he feels a responsibility to
his fans, they are there to have a good time and that
is what he wants to provide them with.
