Stanislaus County Fair entries in open divisions

–Get in on the fun of exhibiting at this year’s
Stanislaus County Fair, but take note—time is almost
up!
Do you
make homemade brew?
Perhaps you raise horses?
Or, does your hobby include gardening, planting
or arranging? Well
then, the time is now to enter into the Fair’s
exhibit program, but you need to hurry—the
deadline for open entries for the Stanislaus County
Fair is just days away!
Moms,
dads, grandpas, grandmas, children and tots—if you
would like to display your hobby or trade at the
Stanislaus County Fair, the deadline for open
division is Thursday, July 1.
The open exhibit deadline applies for the
following divisions: floriculture,
agriculture/horticulture, open horse, wine and beer.
Exhibitor
entry forms must be received at the Fair office no
later than Thursday, July 1 by 5 p.m., or be
postmarked by July 1, 2004.

handbooks are available on the fair’s website at
www.stancofair.com and at the following locations:
Turlock, Cloth & Quilts, Stanislaus
County Fair, Turlock Library, Valley Distributors; Ceres,
Suszanne’s Ceramics; Hilmar, Hilmar Cheese; Oakdale,
Oakdale Feed; Riverbank, Morris Nursery; Waterford,
Waterford Farm Supply; Patterson, Patterson
Library. Exhibitor handbooks and entry forms are also available at the
following Modesto locations Elegant Stitch,
Nasco West, Scenic Nursery, Stanislaus Library and The
Camera Center.
The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 93rd
year. The 2004 fair opens Friday, July 30 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Say
Cheese!”
Last year
more than 225,000 people enjoyed the fair. In 2002 and again in 2003, Modesto Bee readers voted
the Stanislaus County Fair their “Favorite
All-Around Event” in the Bee’s Reader’s
Choice Awards.
The mission of the Stanislaus County Fair is to
provide a family and community oriented experience
promoting agriculture, education, entertainment and
