Stanislaus County Fair
wins blue ribbons!
Turlock--The
Stanislaus County Fair walked away with 12 blue
ribbons at an awards banquet of fair executives from
throughout the United States and Canada.
At the
annual conference of the Western Fairs Association (WFA),
the Stanislaus County Fair was the recipient 12
awards -- two first place awards, nine second
place awards and one third place award.
One of the
second place awards was in the category of books,
magazines and newsletters, making Turlock’s own
Turlock Living Magazine a second place award winner
in the Western Fairs Association.
“We are very proud to
work with the talent of Vickie Rogers and her
publication Turlock Living,” said Pennie Rorex,
director of publicity for the Stanislaus County Fair
“We know that our fair guests enjoy reading about
the fair in Turlock Living, and the WFA has
confirmed that Turlock Living is indeed a remarkable
publication.”
