EXHIBIT DEADLINE
APPROACHING FOR STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR
Turlock
– Equestrians, brewers and gardeners hoof it
over to the Stanislaus County Fair as the deadline
to enter is just around the corner!
The exhibit entry deadline for
Stanislaus County Fair Floriculture, Horse, Ag.Hort.
and Wine and Beer divisions is Thursday, June 30 by
5 p.m.
“There were more than 25,500 individual
entries exhibited at the 2004 Stanislaus County
Fair,” said Tony Leo, chief executive officer for
the Stanislaus County Fair. “Our outstanding
exhibit program is the heart of the Stanislaus
County Fair and is what sets this fair apart from a
traditional amusement park. Exhibiting at the fair
is a family tradition for hundreds of families in
our community—it’s something for the young and the
young-at-heart.”
Specific entry forms are due no later
than Thursday, June 30 by 5 p.m. for the following
divisions:

The Stanislaus County
Fair is now in its 94th year. The
2005 fair opens Friday, July 29 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Tropical Nights
and Midway Lights.” Last year more than 225,000
people enjoyed the fair. In 2002 and again in 2003,
Modesto Bee readers voted the Stanislaus
County Fair their “Favorite All-Around Event” in the
Bee’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
