LONESTAR
IS FIRST MAJOR HEADLINER ANNOUCED
FOR 2005 STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR
Turlock – The Stanislaus County Fair has
booked yet another sought-after, award-winning
country act to headline at summer event—Lonestar.
Lonestar,
known for hits like “Amazed,” “I’m Already There,”
“My Front Porch Looking In” and “What About Now”
will perform in the FoodMaxx Arena on
Tuesday, August 2, at 8 p.m. at the
Stanislaus County Fair. The Lonestar concert,
hosted by KAT Country 103, is the first major
headliner concert announced for the 2005 Stanislaus
County Fair.
Tickets are $20 for reserved arena floor
seating and $18 for grandstand seating. General
admission tickets are just $15 for adults and $10
for children under 12. Reserved seat tickets go on
sale on Saturday, May 7, 2005.
“Our fair has a well-deserved reputation
for offering one of the best concert series in the
valley,” said Pennie Rorex, spokesperson for the
Stanislaus County Fair. “With Lonestar as one of
our major celebrity concerts, we continue to meet
and exceed our fair guests’ expectations. Lonestar
is, without a doubt, one of the best country music
groups in the industry and we expect a sold out
show!”
The four members of Lonestar include:
Dean Sams on keyboards and vocals, Michael Britt on
guitar and vocals, Keech Rainwater on drums, and
Richie McDonald on lead vocals. This group has more
awards than they can count, and they don’t need to
count because they are more passionate about making
music than they are about being recognized for it.
Their unique ability to connect with American
audiences is what they are known for, and songs like
“I’m Already There,” “Not a Day Goes By” and
“Amazed” are prime examples of how this group is
able to touch the hearts and lives of Americans
everywhere.
