CALLING ALL DESTRUCTION DERBY HOPEFULS
Turlock – If crashing and
smashing is your game, then sign up to compete in
one two, or both Destruction Derbies at the
Stanislaus County Fair!
For the third consecutive year the
Stanislaus County Fair and the Turlock Lions Club
will offer two car-crunching nights of Destruction
Derby fun during the fair’s 10-day run. The
Destruction Derby rules and entry forms are now
available at the Stanislaus County Fair office
located at 900 N. Broadway in Turlock.
Destruction Derby I: Traditional Turmoil
is slated for Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m.
Destruction Derby II: Metal Mayhem is slated for
Thursday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. Both derbies have driver
positions open, but don’t delay – these positions
fill fast!
Sponsored by the
Turlock Lions Club, the Destruction Derby (D-Derby)

County Fair. “The traditional D-Derby is so popular

spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
“The Turlock Lions
Club is calling all cars and all drivers,” said Carl
Mikkelsen, derby coordinator for the Turlock Lions
Club. “A full plate of destruction is planned for
everyone who has a thirst for the flinging, exhaust
billowing and the metal crunching fun of the sport
of derby!”
