4-H & FFA FAIR EXHIBIT
DEADLINE APPROACHING
Turlock – 4-H and FFA members who
wish to exhibit at the Stanislaus County Fair have
just a few more weeks to enter.
The
Stanislaus County Fair exhibit deadline for most 4-H
and FFA divisions is Thursday, June 2 by 5 p.m. The
Exhibitor Handbook, which includes entry forms and
all exhibit details, is available online at
www.stancofair.com. Entry form deadlines for 4-H
and FFA divisions include:

May 27
– 1st year of a 2-year Replacement
Heifer project (application and entry form)

June 2
– Jr. Livestock, Jr. Rabbits, Jr. Poultry, 4-H &
FFA Horse and all 4-H still exhibits

June 16
– 4-H & FFA Agriculture Horticulture (fruits and
vegetables), 4-H & FFA Ornamental Horticulture
(gardens, flowers, etc.) and FFA Ag Mechanics.
Exhibitor handbooks and entry forms are

The Stanislaus County
Fair is now in its 94th year. The
2005 fair opens Friday, July 29 for a 10-day run.
The theme of this year’s fair is “Tropical Nights
and Midway Lights.” Last year more than 225,000
people enjoyed the fair. In 2002 and again in 2003,
Modesto Bee readers voted the Stanislaus
County Fair their “Favorite All-Around Event” in the
Bee’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
