Neal McCoy brings award-winning
show to turlock
Turlock –
Triple-platinum, country music dynamo Neal McCoy
will serenade you with tender ballads and get you
shakin’ with honky-tonk anthems this summer at the
Stanislaus County Fair.
The two-time “Entertainer of the Year”
is set to perform on the Budweiser Variety Free
Stage on Sunday, July 30, at 8:30 p.m. at the
Stanislaus County Fair. All concerts on this
stage are included with the price of fair gate
admission.
“Neal McCoy’s charisma, energy
and vocal talents can only be truly experienced at
one of his live shows,” said Pennie Rorex,
spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “He is
the ideal compliment to the family fun that our fair
has provided for the past 95 years.”
McCoy is best known for hits like “The
City Put the Country Back in Me,” and “Billy’s Got
His Beer Goggles On.” His 2005 release “That’s Life”
was the first release on his own label, 903 Music.
One listen and fans will know this album is the
culmination of years of dedication and passion.
Neal McCoy is the fourth of several
exciting musical acts to be announced for the 2006
Stanislaus County Fair. With six stages filled with
entertainment each night of its 10-day run, the fair
has something to offer every member of the family.

The Stanislaus County
Fair is now in its 95th year. The 2006
fair opens Friday, July 28 for a 10-day run. The
theme of this year’s fair, “Pig Out on Family Fun,”
is sure to provide a good time for kids and adults
alike. The fair has twice been honored with
Modesto Bee Reader’s Choice Awards for “Favorite
All-Around Event.”
