Turlock
– If you’re
looking for free
entertainment
this summer, but
don’t want to
burn up gallons
of expensive gas
getting there,
you’ll find it
on six stages at
the Stanislaus
County Fair.
Over
the past four
months, fair
officials have
announced the
complete concert
lineup on the
Budweiser
Variety Free
Stage—opening on
day one with
Pablo Cruise and
closing on day
10 with Graciela
Beltran. And
there’s more
entertainment
with a local
twist on the
Coors Center
Stage. This
stage features
regional bands
nightly,
offering even
more great music
and good times,
free with fair
admission.
Its spacious
dance slab and
convenient
location north
of the Costco
Commercial
Exhibits
Building make
the Coors Center
Stage the ideal
stop for cool
cats who love to
swing, classic
rockers,
California
Cloggers and
saucy salsa
lovers alike.
“The
variety of music
you’ll enjoy at
the Coors Center
Stage is both
multicultural
and
multigenerational,”
said Pennie
Rorex, the
fair’s
spokesperson.
“Every night
guests will be
treated to a
sampling of the
area’s finest
bands and are
always invited
to cut a rug on
the large dance
slab.”
This year’s
Coors Center
Stage lineup
includes
everything from
Salsa to Cumbias
and Rock ’n’
Roll to Tejano.
