4Him Farewell
tour to stop at Turlock fair
Turlock
– Eight-time Dove Award recipients 4Him will
grace the Stanislaus County Fair with a stop
on their 40-city farewell tour.
The
southern foursome will bring their
pop-driven gospel to the
Budweiser
Variety Free Stage on Monday, July 31 at
8:30 p.m. The concert will be
hosted by Celebration Radio, 101.5 KAMB.
All concerts on this stage are included
with the price of fair gate admission.
“4Him’s music has truly stood the test of
time,” said Pennie Rorex, spokesperson for
the Stanislaus County Fair. “I’m sure their
farewell tour will be bittersweet but it is
a privilege and an honor to be able to bring
fans one last opportunity to see such an
awesome group.”
The tour coincides with the release of their
latest and final project,
Encore…For
Future Generations. Audiences
first took notice of 4Him with the release
of their No. 1 single “Where There Is
Faith.” Over the course of the next 15
years, 4Him has taken home eight out of nine
Dove Award nominations, released 22 number
one singles and have shared their love of
gospel with millions of dedicated fans.
4Him is the
fifth concert to be announced for the 2006
Stanislaus County Fair. With six stages
filled with entertainment each night of its
10-day run, the fair has something to offer
every member of the family.

The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 95th
year. The 2006 fair opens Friday, July 28
for a 10-day run. The theme of this year’s
fair, “Pig Out on Family Fun,” is sure to
provide a good time for kids and adults
alike. The fair has twice been honored with
Modesto
Bee Reader’s Choice Awards for
“Favorite All-Around Event.”
