SHeDAISY TO PLAY STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR

Turlock – Three sisters will lure adoring fans to the Stanislaus County fairgrounds for a country music treat.

Country music sister-act sensation SHeDAISY is scheduled to take the Stanislaus County Fair’s Budweiser Variety Free Stage Thursday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 p.m. The concert will be hosted by KAT Country 103. All concerts on this stage are included with the price of fair gate admission.

“The Osborn sisters have really proven to be role models for young girls,” said Pennie Rorex, fair spokesperson. “They are accomplished and talented and talented musicians and we are delighted to add them to our impressive free stage line up.”

SHeDAISY’s career got off to a quick start 5 years ago. For sisters Kassidy, Kelsi and Kristyn Osborn it has been a wild ride. The group’s first four singles – including “Little Good-Byes,” went straight to the Top 10. The Whole SHeBANG sold nearly 2 million copies, making it one of the most successful debut albums by a country act since the Dixie Chicks. “Passenger Seat,” their first single from their latest CD Sweet Right Here raced up the charts in March faster than any previous SHeDAISY single.

SHeDAISY is the eighth concert to be announced for the 2006 Stanislaus County Fair. With six stages filled with entertainment each night of its 10-day run, the fair has something to offer every member of the family.
