Smash mouth mixing it up at
stanislaus county fair!
Turlock, CA—Smash
Mouth’s profound chemistry is the perfect equation
for summer fun and great entertainment at the
Stanislaus County Fair.
Emerging
on the national scene for nearly 10 years now,
collectively Smash Mouth has sold more than 10
million albums worldwide. The award-winning band
will take to the Budweiser Variety Free Stage at
the Stanislaus County Fair on Friday, July 27 at
8:30 p.m. All concerts are included with the price
of admissions.

about this concert because is will further expand
the variety of music that we offer at the fair,”
said Pennie Rorex, fair spokesperson. “Our fair’s
broad-based entertainment lineup is what makes the
Stanislaus County Fair so popular to our diverse
community.”
Smash Mouth’s number
one hits “Walkin’ on the Sun” and “All Star” are
only a few of the bands’ accomplishments and
successful hit singles that has consistently
impacted radio and the music industry. “Then the
Morning Comes” and “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby”
are among others. A cover of The Monkees classic
“I’m a Believer,” has recently been featured on the
Shrek movie soundtrack. Their multi-platinum sound
can get a quick listen and you will recognize a 60’s
influenced garage band with a keen pop sensibility
that maintains a timeless quality style created that
is all their own.
Smash Mouth will be
the opening act for the 2007 Stanislaus County
Fair. One of the band’s co-founders Paul DeLisle
says, “Recordings are only one part of the whole.
This band must be seen to be believed. It’s a
nonstop party that we put on nightly. If we’re
coming to your town, it’s a party you won’t want to
miss.”
The Stanislaus County
Fair is now in its 96th year. The 2007
fair opens Friday, July 27 for a 10-day run. The
theme of this year’s fair, “Summer Safari,” will
provide a great adventure for kids and adults alike.
