COUNTY FAIR TICKETS GO ON SALE MAY 5!

– It’s going to be more than a fair deal the
first Saturday in May when discount
admission, carnival and motorsports tickets
go on sale for the 2007 Stanislaus County
Fair.
On
Saturday,
May 5, 2007,
beginning at 10 a.m., tickets go
on sale for the Stanislaus County Fair’s
motorsports events, including three exciting
new events. In addition,
discount Fair admission and
discounts on unlimited carnival rides will
also go on sale. There are five convenient
ways to purchase tickets and details are
available at www.stancofair.com.
“This year all celebrity concerts are
included with the price of Fair admission,”
said Pennie Rorex, Stanislaus County
Fair spokesperson. “Therefore, by
purchasing discounted Fair admission in
advance our Fair guests will have the
opportunity to see major celebrity concerts,
like LeAnn Rimes, for just $6.”
“We have
also added three new motorsports events to
our lineup in the FoodMaxx Arena,” said
Rorex. “The first new event is quad drags
and thrill-seeking motorcycle jumpers on
Aug. 1. The second new event is an
exhilarating night of QuadCross and Pee Wee
Bikes. And, the third new event is the
return of the Mug Bog to the Stanislaus
County Fair.”
As always,
Fair officials anticipate that Destruction
Derby I Traditional Turmoil tickets will
sell out in less than a half hour.

at 1-800-225-2277, exactly at 10 a.m.
when tickets go on sale.

the demand for Destruction Derby I,
Traditional Turmoil sales on May 5 (only)

limited to ten (10) tickets per person
and/or per credit card for this
event.
Also new for
the 2007 fair is the convenience of
purchasing and printing eTickets from the
comfort of your own home computer for Fair
admission and unlimited carnival rides.
eTickets also go on sale on May 5 at
www.stancofair.com. Fair guests can save up
to 32 percent on unlimited ride wristbands
and $2 off the regular price of adult
admission. Discount prices are offered
until the day before the Fair
opens—Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m.
While discounts conclude the day before the
Fair opens, Fair guests can still save time
at the admission gate by purchasing eTickets
online all the way through closing day of
the Fair.
The
Stanislaus County Fair Midway, sponsored by
Taco Bell, will feature nearly 40 exciting
attractions, including the Giant Wheel and
the merry-go-round for the young and the
young at heart.

Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 96th
year. The 2007 fair opens Friday, July 27
for a 10-day run. The theme of this year’s

experience promoting agriculture, education,
