Blake Shelton brings new
flavor to Stanislaus county fair
Turlock,
CA—There will be more than the tastes of cotton
candy and corn dogs at the county fair when Blake
Shelton takes the stage with a country music flavor
of his own.
Entrancing listeners
through his vocal acrobatics, Blake Shelton is
waking up country music fans bringing his own spices
to the Budweiser Variety Free Stage, Wednesday,
Aug. 1 at 8:30 p.m. at this years’ Stanislaus County
Fair. All concerts are included with the price of
admission.
“Country singer
Blake Shelton is fresh and unique and definitely
a great addition to country music,” said Pennie
Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
“His concert is certain to be a great treat to our
fair guests.”
Blake Shelton, a
powerful and expressive vocalist, is ready to
showcase his impressive songwriting skills. His
featured debut album “Blake Shelton, Pure BS”
may have an amusing title, but “pure” has country
music fans interested everywhere. “I want to make
albums that [last] forever that people never throw
away. When they break it they go buy another one
because I sing songs that they really relate to and
my music means something to them. That’s what I’m
chasing.”
In addition to his longtime
collaborator, Bobby Braddock, Shelton worked with
producers Brent Rowan and Paul Worley on his new
CD. As an artist, Shelton has shown steady growth
and momentum since his impressive 2001 debut, which
earned him the title of Radio & Records
Magazine’s breakthrough country artist of the year.
His numerous hit songs include the sweet sentiments
of “Austin,” and “Goodbye Time” reaching out to his
fans with meaningful music that will touch your
heart.
