Leann Rimes to play at
stanislaus County fair
Turlock, CA— An
extraordinary prodigy, LeAnn Rimes—breathtaking a
decade ago—continues to be a country music
phenomenon.
A sensational artist,
LeAnn Rimes is scheduled to take the Stanislaus
County Fair’s Budweiser Variety Free Stage,
Saturday July 28, at 8:30 p.m. All concerts are
included with the price of admission.
“LeAnn Rimes
music and her ability to bring so much meaning to
her lyrics makes it such a wonderful delight to
bring her to this years’ fair,” said Pennie Rorex,
fair spokesperson.
Being a household word
since 1996, LeAnn is just 24 years of age, proving
her talents have far exceeded any success
imaginable. Her fearlessness has challenged many
fans to set aside any preconceptions about country
music, as a result, opening up a genre of even
greater music. She is one of the best known country
acts in the business, and she is ready to share her
amazing talents at the fair.
Having her first hit
single at the age of 13 years old “Blue,” and by the
age of 24 selling over 37 million albums makes LeAnn
beyond phenomenal. Among her success, she has won an
American Music Award, two Grammy Awards, three
Academy of Country Music Awards and 12 Billboard
Music Awards.
LeAnn Rimes is the
second of 10 free celebrity concerts to be announced
for the 2007 Stanislaus County Fair.
