safari with the return of the popular
Stanislaus County Fair Merchant Days
Program; and with even more businesses
participating,
saving on admission has never been easier.
This year,
over 250 Stanislaus County businesses
will be displaying the fair poster and
providing Merchant Days discount coupons
good for $2 off a single adult fair
admission on Wednesday, Aug. 1 or Sunday,
Aug. 5. A list of all businesses that have
Merchant Days discount coupons is available
at www.stancofair.com.
“When we
launched the Merchant Days program last
year, we had no idea it would become such a
success,” said Tony Leo, fair CEO.
“More than 4,000 fair guests visited our
participating Stanislaus County businesses
in 2006. We hope that with an increase in
participating merchants, even more guests
will be able to take advantage of this
discount on fair fun.”
In addition
to the fair’s website, listings of Merchant
Days participants will also appear in local
newspapers throughout Stanislaus
County beginning the week of July 16. With
participating businesses located from one
end of the county to the other, saving even
more on your Summer Safari at the fair will
be quick and convenient.
The
Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 96th
year. The 2007 fair opens Friday, July 27
for a 10-day run. The theme of this year’s
fair, “Summer Safari,” will provide a great
adventure for kids and adults alike.
