THREE DOG NIGHT TO OPEN STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR
THIS FRIDAY
Turlock-Fair officials announced this afternoon
that Three Dog Night will take to the Budweiser
Variety Free Stage on Friday, July 27, 2007, at
8:30 p.m. All concerts on this stage are
included with the price of fair admission. The
concert will be hosted by Oldies 97.5 KABX.
Smash Mouth, originally
scheduled to appear on opening night, cancelled
on Thursday afternoon due to illness of the lead
singer. "Three Dog Night put on a
fantastic show at our fair in 2002," said Pennie
Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County
Fair. "We welcome their return on opening
night."
Legendary music icons
Three Dog Night, enter their 4th decade,
bringing with them some of the most astonishing
statistics in popular music. In the years
1969 through 1974, no other group had more top
10 hits, moved more records or sold more concert
tickets than Three Dog Night. Their number one
hits include Mama Told Me (Not To Come) and Joy
to The World. The complete Budweiser

* LeAnn Rimes: Saturday, July 28 at 8:30 p.m.
* Tanya Tucker and The Bellamy Brothers: Sunday,

30 at 8:30 p.m.
* Triple Threat Tour: Restless Heart, BlawkHawk
and Little Texas:
Tuesday, July 31 at 8:30 p.m.
* Blake Shelton: Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 8:30 p.m.
* REO Speedwagon: Thursday, Aug. 2 at 8:30 p.m.
(Note: Hootie & the
Blowfish will not appear as previously
scheduled, due to illness of the lead
singer.)
* The Guess Who: Friday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 p.m.
* Adbacadabra - the ultimate ABBA concert:
Saturday Aug. 4 at 8:30
p.m.
* Ana Bárbara: Sunday, Aug. 5 at 8:30 p.m.
The Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 96th
year. The 2007 fair
opens Friday, July 27 for a 10-day run. The
theme of this year's fair,
"Summer Safari," will provide a great adventure
for kids and adults alike.
