LATIN MUSIC ARTIST Ana BÁRBARA TO CLOSE STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR

Turlock, CA—One of Latin music’s leading solo artists will culminate 10 great concerts at this year’s Stanislaus County Fair.

Ana Bárbara is bringing her sassy and smooth style to the Budweiser Variety Free Stage on Sunday, Aug. 5, at 8:30 p.m. at the 2007 Stanislaus County Fair. The concert, free with the price of fair admission, will be hosted by Radio Lobo 98.7. 

“Ana Bárbara is well known for her amazing energy on stage,” said Pennie Rorex, fair spokesperson.  “Her award-winning voice and fantastic show will be the perfect culmination of 10 exciting days of the fair.”

After being named the most beautiful woman of her native state, Bárbara took the opportunity to demonstrate her talent and toured throughout Mexico. In 1995, Bárbara initiated her internationalization by successfully performing in the United States and in Central and South America. Her combination of vocal talent, beauty and charisma led her to win the Latin Grammy Singer/Songwriter award for 2005.

Bárbara is the 2007 fair’s closing day act.  The complete Budweiser Variety Free Stage lineup is as follows:

The Stanislaus County Fair is now in its 96^th year. The 2007 fair opens Friday, July 27 for a 10-day run.
