BUILDING 429
AND MATTHEW WEST TOGETHER AT THE
STANISLAUS FAIR
The
Stanislaus County Fair is bringing
two inspirational Christian music
performers to the stage in one great
night.
The
incredible three man band,
Building 429, and awe-inspiring
songwriter Matthew West, will
perform on the Stanislaus County
Fair Budweiser Variety Free
Stage on Monday, July 28 at
8:30 p.m. This concert is
included in Fair admission and is
hosted by Celebration Radio 101.5
KAMB.
“Building 429 is an
exciting addition to this year’s
concert line-up,” said Pennie Rorex,
Fair spokesperson. “To include
Matthew West on the same stage on
the same night makes for an amazing
night of Christian music.”
Building 429 launched onto the music
scene with their debut
record-breaking single, “Glory
Defined” which was declared BMI’s
Christian Song of the Year. The band
was also awarded the 2005 Dove Award
for new artist of the year. The band
has since inspired listeners with
songs like “You Carried Me,” “I
Believe” and “Fearless.” With their
no distractions approach to writing,
the band is going as strong as ever
with their new record Iris to
Iris.
Matthew West is a songwriter who has
shined through adversity. Due to a
vascular polyp and hemorrhaged blood
vessels on his vocal chords, West
lost his voice in 2007. After
regaining his speech ability, West
is a man who has “Something to Say.”
This multi-Dove Award nominee has
enchanted listeners with songs like:
“Only Grace,” “More” and “History.”
