“Bull riding is an extremely
popular event that has grown
to be a sought-after sport
by both the competitor and
the fan,” said Pennie Rorex,
spokesperson for the
Stanislaus County Fair.
“Organizers Wes and Stacey
Ibrahimi are well respected
on the bull riding circuit
and put on an exciting and
entertaining show.”
In the sport
of bull riding, riders
compete to stay on the bull
for at least 8 seconds and
are scored by two judges.
The bull rider that scores
the highest, up to 100
points, wins the
competition.
The Humpz and Hornz Rodeo
Company is based in Le
Grand, California. The
Ibrahimis have been
producing bull riding events
for county fairs for the
past 12 years.
“Our show is definitely one
that people from all walks
of life attend and enjoy,”
said Wes Ibrahimi. “Our
event allows Fair guests to
enjoy action-packed
entertainment before heading
out to the midway for a
night full of bright lights
and cotton candy.”

This year’s Stanislaus
County Fair is themed “Nuts
are DINO-mite,” a salute to
the valley’s robust nut
industry. The Almond Board
of California, a major
sponsor of the Fair’s themed
tribute, will be offering
free samples of almonds each
day of the Fair.
New to the 2008 Fair will be
Jurassic Journey, an 8,000
square foot life-size
dinosaur replica exhibit.
The dinosaur exhibit is
sponsored by Sky Trek
Aviation and is making its
California debut at the
Stanislaus County Fair.
In 2008, the Stanislaus
County Fair was awarded a
first place award for the
best Overall Children’s
Program by the Western Fairs
Association. The mission of
the Stanislaus County Fair
is to provide a family and
community oriented
experience promoting
agriculture, education,
entertainment and
technology.
