NEW FAIR-TIME
COMPANY PICNIC PROGRAM ANNOUNCED
Company picnic planning
just got easier—you add the guests and
the Stanislaus County Fair will do the
rest.
The Stanislaus County
Fair announced this week that it can now
accommodate company picnics and group
gatherings during the 10-days of the
fair. Companies can now select from one
of four picnic packages with options
that can include a tri-tip and chicken
BBQ, hot dogs and hamburgers, a fair
t-shirt, unlimited rides and a clown.
All packages include parking and fair
admission.
“The best part of our new
company picnic program is that the host
can sit back and relax, while our
special event team takes care of all the
details,” said Jenny Dornan, special
events coordinator for the Stanislaus
County Fair. “All the company picnic
host needs to provide are the guests.”
The fair’s company picnic
packages range in price from $23.50 per
adult to $55 per
adult, depending on the
amenities included with each package.
Each company picnic package also has a
children’s price.
The Best of Show package
includes a tri-tip BBQ served in a
private tent, a welcome banner, an
official fair t-shirt, a clown to
entertain the kids and unlimited
carnival ride wristbands. The Blue
Ribbon package features grilled hot dogs
and hamburgers and unlimited carnival
ride wristbands. There is also a Red
Ribbon and White Ribbon package.
Every Group picnic
package includes:
-
Blue
Ribbon customer service from the
fair’s Special Events Coordinator
who plans and coordinates all the
event details
-
Admission to Stanislaus County’s
largest family-oriented event
-
Parking in one of two main parking
lots
-
Entertainment on five stages,
including a celebrity concert at
8:30 p.m. nightly.
-
The
Jurassic Journey, a 6,000 sq. ft.
outdoor exhibit featuring 40
life-size dinosaur replicas,
including a 12’ tall and 22’ long
Stegosaurus and the
T-Rex.
-
Brad’s
World Reptiles, a hands-on,
interactive exhibit where kids can
meet ‘Big Al’ the alligator and
other zoo-quality show stoppers like
the python.
-
The
4-H Farmyard Experience, a big place
where little people can get up close
with baby farm animals and maybe
milk a “real” cow.
“The Stanislaus County
Fair is a 72-acre, award-winning,
instant company picnic,” said Tony Leo,
chief executive officer of the
Stanislaus County Fair. “We encourage
companies to reward their team members
with a company picnic during the
Stanislaus County Fair.”

The 2008 Stanislaus
County Fair opens Friday July 25 for its
10-day run. Now in its 97th
year, this year’s fair is themed “Nuts
are DINO-mite!” Fair guests can count on
award-winning, enormous dinosaur fun.
In 2008, the Stanislaus
County Fair was awarded a first place
award for the best Overall Children’s
Program by the Western Fairs
Association. The mission of the
Stanislaus County Fair is to provide a
family and community oriented experience
promoting agriculture, education,
entertainment and technology.
