DEADLINES FOR 4-H AND FFA EXHIBITS
FOR THE STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR ARE APPROACHING
Turlock, CA (May 13, 2010) – It is time to put the final touches on your projects for the 2010 Stanislaus County Fair; exhibit entry deadlines for 4-H and FFA divisions are approaching.
The exhibit deadlines for the 2010 Stanislaus County Fair 4-H and FFA departments and open departments are Thursday, May 20th, Thursday June 3rd, and Thursday, June 10th by 5 p.m. This will be the final chance for exhibitors in the following divisions to enter in the competition at the Stanislaus County Fair.
The May 20th deadline applies to the following 4-H and FFA exhibits:
· Livestock
· Horse
· Still Exhibits (except Ag Horticulture, Ornamental Horticulture, FFA Ag Mechanics, Rabbits, Poultry, Cavies & Dogs)
The June 3rd deadline applies to the following 4-H and FFA exhibits and open exhibits:
· Ag Horticulture
· Ornamental Horticulture
· FFA Ag Mechanics
· Jr. Industrial Arts
· All Open Junior and Senior entry forms (except Floriculture, Ag Horticulture and Wine & Beer)
· All Open Horse & Mule Entries
The June 10th deadline applies to the following 4-H and FFA exhibits:
· Open Junior and Senior Ag Horticulture
· Wine & Beer
· Floriculture (including gardens)
· Rabbits
· Poultry
· Cavies
· Dogs

The 2010 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 16 for a 10-day run. Discounted Fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and arena event reserved seat tickets are now on sale. Visit the Fair’s website for complete ticket sale details at www.stancofair.com.
The 2010 Fair theme is “Flavors of the Valley.” The theme will highlight food and beverage products that are processed and manufactured in the Central Valley. The 2010 Fair will also feature the highly popular Rainforest Adventure, sponsored by Sky Trek Aviation, which debuted in 2009. Also planned for 2010 are nightly metal-mashing motorsports and rodeo in the FoodMaxx Arena, a total of five stages of live entertainment, upwards of 30,000 local exhibits and over 1,750 animals.
