Rainforest Adventure

An educational adventure presented by:

Thursday, July 21 is Kids Night!  Children 12 and under get a FREE admission to the Fair!

Slow it down with a sloth, carouse with the kinkajous, congregate with the chameleons, peek in at the porcupine! Would you like to go on an exotic vacation? Don’t let the high price of travel prevent you from seeing the rainforest! The Stanislaus County Fair’s Rainforest Adventure is a multi-sensory expedition through a lush rainforest exhibit complete with the critters that inhabit this environment. The toucans, anacondas, snapping turtles, and geckos will join you in this 8,000 square feet rainforest, too.

The Fair’s own rainforest includes plant-life growing from the ground to the canopy! Naturalists and interpreters will also be on hand to explain how every layer contributes to the environment and the challenges facing these unique ecological wonders.
