Classes Invited To Tour Stanislaus County Fair For Free!
Teachers get those calendars open because it is time to make class reservations to tour Stanislaus County’s largest community event.
Stanislaus County Fair class tours for grades kindergarten through sixth grade, now in their 23rd year, were created to be both exciting and educational and afford students a guided trip around the Fair absolutely free of charge. The students will visit the Fair’s Rainforest Adventure, sponsored by Sky Trek Aviation with real animals. Some of the exotic animals that will be there is a sloth, kinkajou and snakes. The students will also explore the Fair’s historical exhibit, celebrating 100 years of Fair fun. Another point of interest is the 4-H Farmyard Experience, a popular 10,000 square foot exhibit where kids can explore and learn fun facts about animals and agriculture.
Tours are scheduled for Wednesday, July 20, Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22. The first tour begins at 8:30 a.m. with tours departing every 30 minutes through 12 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours, with the final tour of the day concluding at 2 p.m.
Tours are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and should be booked early.
