Turlock, CA (May 18, 2017) –The fantastic lineup of international Hispanic entertainers at the Stanislaus County Fair is sure to be la fiesta del verano (the party of the summer).
The Stanislaus County Fair welcomes Banda Rancho Viejo on Sunday, July 16, 2017 and Lupillo Rivera on Sunday, July 23, 2017. They will be performing on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. Both concerts will be hosted by La Favorita and are free with the price of Fair admission.
“Hispanic acts are one of the most popular attractions we have at the Fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Their performances always draw an energetic crowd and we are thrilled to have them all performing at Fair.”

Exhibitor Deadlines approaching Fast

Turlock, CA (May 16, 2017) – Exhibitor deadlines are fast approaching, the deadline to submit is Thursday, May 18th. New contest deadline is Thursday, July 13th.
“The exhibitor handbook is currently online and we encourage exhibitors to enter now,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “With many new exhibits and arena events, guests are encouraged to buy tickets at a discounted rate beginning April 29th.”

empowHER Lounge at the Fair Fosters Confidence and Leadership

Turlock, CA (May 11, 2017) – The Stanislaus County Fair is thrilled to empower young women for the second year in the empowHER Lounge.
The Stanislaus County Fair has partnered with Vintage Faire Mall, Yonan’s Jewelers, Women’s Education and Leadership League (WELL) and KHOP @ 95.1 to bring guests a contemporary and inspirational lounge for young women, ages 16 and older, to enjoy. The empowHER Lounge will be a lounge geared towards inspiring young girls to be great leaders in our community.
“Young women must feel confident within themselves and harness leadership skills to succeed in the real world,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “This lounge will provide fun educational opportunities that will inspire young girls to be leaders in our community.”

Don’t miss out on entering into the county’s largest display of talent exhibits as the deadlines are May 18 and June 1, 2017. Discounted tickets will also be available starting Saturday, April 29 at 8 a.m.

Discounted Fair Tickets go on Sale April 29th!

Turlock, CA (April 20, 2017) –It’s a Fair deal on the last Saturday of April when discounted admission tickets, carnival ride wristbands and arena event tickets go on sale for the 2017 Fair.
The Stanislaus County Fair will open its box office to sell discounted Fair admission tickets, arena tickets, fair season pass and discounted unlimited ride wristbands beginning Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 8 a.m. Guests can buy tickets at discount prices until Thursday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Fair box office located at 900 N. Broadway, Turlock or online at www.stancofair.com.
“The motorhome derby has always been extremely popular and well attended, therefore, we have added another motorhome derby night,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “The arena events will also include three nights of rodeo.”

AG in the Classroom

Turlock, CA (April 13, 2017) – The Stanislaus County Fair is partnering with local classrooms to teach students about the importance of agriculture in the community.
The Stanislaus County Fair’s “School Involvement Program” sponsored by Turlock Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee, gives students an opportunity to work with the Fair and use their imagination through creativity. This year the focus is on farm animals.
Specifically developed curriculum kits will assist teachers with instructing students about the agricultural industry, farm animals and their importance to life. The kits include a book, activities for the studentsand a wood sawhorse for each classroom to create their unique “Farm Animal” project. Each class participating will have their projects entered and showcased at the 2017 Fair.

20/20 Veggie Contest

Turlock, CA (April 11, 2017) –Stanislaus County Fair’s Kids Club Educational Program has once again partnered with the Turlock Unified School District (TUSD) child nutritional program, Real.Fresh. to promote healthy eating throughout the summer and school year.
This is the third year the Stanislaus County Fair has partnered with TUSD to launch the 20/20 Fruit & Veggie Contest. The contest, which rewards students for their nutritional choices, began on Monday, March 27th. Elementary students keep track of their healthy eating choices on punch cards. The intention of the partnership is to support healthy food choices by promoting access to fruits and vegetables.
“Our Kids Club program is fun in an educational way,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “This partnership with TUSD child nutrition program has been successful in introducing innovative approaches to healthy, nutritional choices for young students throughout summer.”

Eli Young Band to Perform at the Stanislaus County Fair

Turlock, CA (April 6, 2017) —Eli Young Band is headed to Turlock for the 2017 Stanislaus County Fair.
Eli Young Band will be performing Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Stanislaus County Fair on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage. The concert will be hosted by KAT Country 103 and will begin at 8:30 p.m. The concert is free with the price of Fair admission.

Dennis Quaid and the Sharks bring Hollywood to the Fair

Turlock, CA (March 23, 2017) — Dennis Quaid and the Sharks are bringing Hollywood to Turlock for the 2017 Stanislaus County Fair.

Dennis Quaid and the Sharks will be performing Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Stanislaus County Fair on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage. The concert will be hosted by 104.1 The Hawk and will begin at 8:30 p.m. The concert is free with the price of Fair admission.

“We know and love Dennis Quaid as an actor, but now we get to see him as a rock star!” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Dennis Quaid and the Sharks are sure to be a fun treat for all of our Fair guests.”

Morris Day and The Time Bring the Funk to the Stancofair

Turlock, CA (March 16, 2017) — Funk legends Morris Day and the Time bring their enduring swagger to Turlock for the 2017 Stanislaus County Fair.
Morris Day and the Time will be performing Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Stanislaus County Fair on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage. The concert will be hosted by KWIN and will begin at 8:30 p.m. The concert is free with the price of Fair admission.
“This funk group will get our Fair guests dancing in no time,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “It will be a great way to celebrate the legacy of longtime collaborator Prince.”
