Can I bring an ice chest or other similar items to the Fair?
Thank you for asking! However, we ask that you bring only your taste buds through gates. If you have special dietary needs, we can accommodate those as needed. Two sealed water bottles or sports drinks per person or one empty reusable bottle per person is allowed. We now have three filling stations available.
How do I get to the Fair?
The Stanislaus County Fair is located at 900 N. Broadway in Turlock, California, the “heart” of California’s Central Valley.

To get to the Fair office located on the corner of Broadway and Canal:
Traveling North on Hwy 99, take the West Main Street exit and turn right onto West Main. At the 2nd stop light, turn left onto Soderquist. Take your fifth right at W. Canal Drive. N. Broadway Avenue will be the next cross street where you will see the fair office on the corner to your left.
Traveling South on Hwy 99, take the Fulkerth Road exit and turn left onto Fulkerth. Go about 3/4 of amile then turn right onto Soderquist. Make the next available left on W. Canal Drive. N. Broadway Avenue will be the next cross street where you will see the fair office on the corner to your left.

Does the Fair have a no smoking policy?
The Fair’s no smoking policy prohibits smoking on the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds at any time. This includes e cigarettes. Please exit the fairgrounds to smoke. Get a hand stamp for reentry. You will need to go through security again. Thank you for your cooperation.
Tickets & Pricing
When do Fair tickets go on sale?
Pre-sale tickets are on sale beginning Saturday, May 2nd, at 10 a.m. The Pre-sale price is available until midnight, prior to the First Day of Fair, when prices go up. There are many promotions available for discounted admission during the fair.

What is the Clear Bag Policy?
To help keep the Fair safe and speed up entry, the Stanislaus County Fair allows only clear bags into the Fairgrounds. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags are permitted, along with small clutch wallets. Diaper bags and medically necessary bags are allowed but may be subject to inspection. Non-clear backpacks, purses, large bags, and coolers are not permitted.

-Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, etc.)

Security & Safety Restrictions
-Drones
-Masks or face coverings worn for the purpose of concealing identity
Animals
-Pets (service animals excepted, as required by law)
Personal Items Not Allowed

Prohibited Conduct & Attire
Any conduct or attire—including clothing, hats, masks, or accessories—that includes words, images, symbols, artwork, or designs deemed by Fair Management to be:
-Obscene, profane, or vulgar
-indecent, Violent, threatening, or abusive.
-Prejudiced or discriminatory toward any individual or group (including based on race, religion, or sexual orientation)
-Encouraging or promoting illegal behavior
Content that is suggestive of prohibited material, even if not overtly explicit, is also prohibited. Obscene or indecent clothing is not permitted.
Does the Fair have a Dress Code?
SCF Dress Code: Inappropriate attire; shoes and shirt are always required on Fairground property. We asked that you do not wear any gang affiliated colors, attire, derogatory words, or images. We are focused on providing a safe, fun environment for everyone. Dress to impress!
